Rummu, a small borough in northern Estonia boasts of having a very interesting beach. In fact, you will be totally amazed at how people seem to be so lively here, making the most out of this wonderful natural beach. It has clear, pristine waters and that adds to the silken sight! Alongside, it happens to be a great location for all sorts of diving and scuba diving activities.
However, what you’ll be shocked to hear about is the disturbing past of Rummu. Earlier, it happened to be a Soviet prison, and was an open mine run by forced labor. Therefore, it largely had a very horrific and monstrous past. Gradually, the waters flooded the quarry and it was then abandoned.
Time indeed can be a great healer by changing things. If anything, you bet Rummu certainly bears testimony to this fact!
