Dear Niece(s) and Nephew(s),
Each of you has changed my life for the better, and being your auntie is the best thing I could ever be. You light up my life every time I see you, especially when I hear the excitement in your voices when you yell “AUNTIE!” It is one of the best feelings in the world to know you love me so much.
One of the hardest things for me to do is say bye to you. You don’t understand how I wish I could see you every day and help you with your homework and play hide and seek all you wanted. It breaks my heart seeing your faces and knowing it makes you so sad when I leave but just know you are always on my mind.
Watching each of you grow from the little babies I knew you as, to the fun energetic children I know you as now has been one of the best experience I have ever had.
I have been able to help you grow into the best little kids in the world and I wouldn’t trade the poopy diaper changes and throw up cleaning duty because of who you all have become. You all mean so much to me and being able to be a part of your lives is such a fantastic experience.
You always know how to make me smile and angry… but mostly smile and laugh. The things you say and do are so ridiculous sometimes it’s impossible to be angry at you. And the smiles you give me for just playing barbies or dinosaurs with you makes me melt with happiness. Who knew kids could be so easily pleased? Please stay like this as long as you can, it will make life so much happier.
As you grow older I hope each of you remember how much your Auntie loves you and how she will always be there for you. I want you to be able to come to me if you need help or just someone to talk to. As we each get older our time together will get shorter, but never think that is because I don’t want to be with you because that is completely untrue.
My love for you only grows stronger and the time I want to spend with you does as well. But I promise you one thing; if you ever need someone to talk to because you can’t talk to your friends or parents you can count on your auntie. I will give you some good advice and hopefully it will be able to help you with your problem.
I love you kiddies so much and all I want is the best for each and every one of you. I can’t wait to watch you grow up into the awesome young people you will be and I look forward to always being your “Awesome Auntie”!
