A family’s safari ride took a scary turn when a lioness opened the door of their car. A video of this spine-chilling moment has surfaced on the internet and gone viral.

An Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer shared the aforementioned video on Twitter. In the clip, one can see that the tourist family stopped their car in front of a pride of lions that were lazing in the sun.
An inquisitive lioness got up and came towards the vehicle. It came quite close and peeped inside the car. A few moments later, the lioness opened the door of the car with her teeth. Luckily, the girl in the car was able to quickly shut the door.
“The lioness wants to go on a safari ride. It opens the door and asks for a lift. This can also happen to you in your next safari. Maintain safe distance from wild animals,” IFS wrote in the caption.
