The mystery of why Corona caused more havoc in the US-European countries Italy, France and Spain than China seems solved. Research from Cambridge University has revealed that the virus originated from China changed three forms. In Europe and America, it took the life of more than one lakh people by taking a more deadly form.

Cambridge genetic scientists have tracked the genome records of 160 different samples of the virus worldwide. This led to its three different lineages, named A, B and C. The virus changed form outside China and became fatal. The citizens of Italy-Spain did not have as much resistant ability to withstand such infections as the people of China. In China, viruses such as SARS, Mars have been attacked, so there was less havoc there.
Different from China: Researchers said the form of corona that targeted Britain was different from the virus samples in China. In Britain it came from Singapore, South Korea or Hong Kong. Corona arrived in Italy from Singapore and Germany, but in return it showed more destruction in Italy.
At the same time, the initial infection of the virus in the US was of type A, which came from China. But later its fatal sample arrived there from Europe, causing record deaths there too. This study of 160 virus genome samples from several countries was published in the General Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences from 24 December 2019 to 4 March 2020.
