Most people have no idea where their food comes from, as a powerful clip from SAMSARA reveals. And, it might be argued, the majority of the populace prefers it this way. Consumers love to live in ignorance, being able to pull whatever products they desire from a freezer or shelf. Out of sight, out of mind is the perfect recipe for bliss, correct?

Unfortunately, this is anything but true. And, there’s a reason Paul McCartney once said, “If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian.” Learning about where one’s food comes from puts many things into perspective, mainly, the abuse animals endure for humans to enjoy their meat and other offerings.
