It is always prescribed by health experts to eat healthy food and at regular intervals. Fruits constitute an important part in the diet of a normal person. They are not only single largest energy provider for the body but also detox the system at the earliest. They play key role in supplying a great amount of energy for weight loss as well as various other activities. But it is equally important to know that fruits should not be taken after having meals. There is a reason for that…
For example if anyone eats a couple of slices of bread and then a piece of fruit; then the fruit which could have gone directly via stomach in to intestines, could not reach. This results in meal rotting and fermenting that converts it into acids. After that, the food in the stomach along with several juices in the stomach begins to spoil. This is the prime reason why people complain about burping after having watermelon after meals or bloating tummy after eating apples.
That is why one must eat fruit on an empty stomach or just ahead of meals.
