- 200 ml water
- 50 grams of brown sugar
- 1 gram of yeast
- 2-liter plastic bottle
How to make a homemade mosquito trap?
- Cut the plastic bottle in half.
- Mix brown sugar with hot water and let it cool.
- Then pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
- Add the yeast to create carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.
- Place the funnel part upside down into the other half.
- Wrap it something black and leave the top uncovered
- Place it away from your normal sitting area.
You can change this solution every couple of weeks for constant mosquito control!
