In the Jaipur city of Rajasthan, a 36-year-old woman named Santosh plotted the brutal murder of her 46-year-old husband and her three children with the help of her lover, Hanuman Prasad. Santosh married Banwari Sharma in the year 1999. Apart from Banwari being 10 years older than Santosh, he was often engrossed in his work, which resulted in Santosh seeking love elsewhere.

After taking up taekwando classes in the neighbourhood to pass her time, Santosh was soon introduced to Hanuman Prasad. The friendship between them eventually turned into a love affair. After her husband and her oldest son learned of the same, they interfered and stopped Santosh from meeting Hanuman any further.

Resultant, Santosh plotted the murder of her husband and her kids so she could spend all her time with Hanuman.

On the day of the murder, Santosh mixed sleeping pills in the food and ensured her three kids and husband were in deep sleep.

She then invited Hanuman, who was accompanied with two hired killers. The trio slashed the throat of her kids and her husband while in their sleep.

Santosh’s niece who was sleeping in the room as well, was awakened with the commotion. Intending to not leave any witnesses behind, the men then murdered the girl as well.

After the murder, Santosh gave the killers the key to a scooty that was placed in her house. The two killers were also given an amount of Rs.3000 for the murders.

The three men then left the house in the scooty and proceeded to the nearest railway station. They left the scooty there and disposed off the weapons they used for the murders.

They then waited for a train, but failed to get one. The trio then took an auto and proceeded to different locations. After the cops solved the murder case, the trio and the woman, Santosh, have now been arrested.
