When I was young, I wanted nothing more than to be in the movies, to be a star! Many people aspire to be in Hollywood for their entire lives, they would sacrifice everything to get there. Then continue to sacrifice until they make it big. Sometimes though, people’s talents are recognized at a young age. They become a star before they even know what being famous means. One of the most iconic child actors of my day was Corey Feldman. With roles in The Goonies, The Lost Boys, and Stand By Me, Feldman’s has always been a name I’ve known. Shockingly, he has now come forward on behalf of himself and his longtime friend, Corey Haim, to spread awareness on the shadow society of Hollywood. The powerful elite men that take advantage of children’s innocence in the most horrible way imaginable.

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman were great friends as they were both raised in the same environment. Even starring in some movies together. Sadly Haim passed away in 2010 from a drug overdose. He had been battling substance abuse for many years. Feldman believes the sexual abuse Haim suffered in Hollywood was the root of his addiction problems. “With me, there were some molestations and it did come from several hands, so to speak, but with Corey, his was direct rape, whereas mine was not actual rape. And his also occurred when he was 11. My son is 11 now and I can’t even begin to fathom the idea of something like that happening to him.”

How does someone being watched by millions have no one see these heinous crimes? Feldman believes the parents are one of the biggest contributors in allowing these crimes to continue.
