The dolls could prove to be dangerous if hackers manage to get into their heads
Sex doll owners, watch out.
Why? Because one day they could kill you. Or at least that is what one cyber security expert has claimed
Dr Nick Patterson spoke out this week revealing that robots could eventually turn on their owners – but not by developing their own minds.
No, the lecturer said the dolls could prove to be dangerous if hackers manage to get into their heads, something that would likely be pretty straight forward compared to taking over computers or mobiles.
And if hackers do get inside, they will then be able to control the robot in it’s entirety.. we’re talking everything from leg movements to picking up objects.

Speaking to the Star Online, Dr Patterson said: ‘Hackers can hack into a robot or a robotic device and have full control of the connections, arms, legs and other attached tools like in some cases knives or welding devices.
‘Once a robot is hacked, the hacker has full control and can issue instructions to the robot.
‘The last thing you want is for a hacker to have control over one of these robots. Once hacked they could absolutely be used to perform physical actions for an advantageous scenario or to cause damage.’
The news follows tech billionaire Elon Musk’s announcement last month, in which he warned that robots could eventually take over the planet.
