The cutest turtle on planet!

This lovable little one seems to get attention from the visitors by getting his belly scrubbed. But there’s a reason why– the “belly” of the turtle, is full of shells that are formed with bony external plates known as scutes. Scratching or rubbing the belly- which is also called as the plastron- helps these cute little sea creatures in shedding the older scutes. Their belly is also similar to the rest of their body and also has a nerve that reached just under the exterior shell. This for them is a heavenly feeling where they get “good feeling!”
