The Journey and purpose of Our Life

We are here on this earth, to learn Love; pure and unconditional love.. We are born out of love, we are love itself. But to survive in this world, we need certain tools and weapons. Only unconditional love is not enough, for the world has it own sets of rules, regulations, systems, concepts, conditions, and discipline, which would quickly injure, hurt and destroys something which is only unconditional love. Pure unconditional love would find it a struggle, to survive here.

And thus is born the ego of the individual, an entity which is both a sword and armor, in this world, to keep us surviving and thriving as much as possible. But once we have survived, and become an adult, the ego has grown unknowing into a huge monster. What initially started as a weapon and armor in order to survive, soon grows in size and becomes a demon, and overtakes us and all our activities. The ego, or the small self, takes over the body mind and soul (the Higher Self) and dictates all our needs, desires, words, thoughts and actions.

But this earth is not a learning ground for how to become more egoistic. It is a learning ground of how to become more love, how to become love itself. The ego then becomes the biggest barrier and obstruction to love. So, now the divine or the Universal powers, start the process of dismantling our egos.

In order for the ego to reduce in size, it needs to be broken and dissolved, But the ego will not allow itself to be dissolved. Thus existence places more and more challenges in our path. The purpose of these challenges is not to trouble us or make us suffer, but rather to make us more humble, more understanding, sympathetic, compassionate and loving, These qualities are antagonists to the ego, and with every challenge and suffering, as we realize the role of the ego in bringing us suffering-through fear, anger, jealousy, greed, lust, worry, anxiety, guilt and grief-we are able to let go and break down parts of the ego and replace them with love.

Each soul travels a particular distance in its birth, learning the lessons of love. When it reaches a point where learning is no longer possible, it leaves the body mind and goes back home. And whatever lessons of love it has not been able to learn, it will get a chance to be born again, choose its birth, its parents and its encounters, and learn these lessons again.

So continues the cycle of birth, life and death, till the soul learns all the necessary lessons. Once all the lessons are learned and the ego is completely removed, such a soul goes on to other dimensions and need not be born on earth again.
