This is 96-year-old Turkish yoga master Kazım Gürbüz, who looks much closer to 50, or even 40, than he does 100.
Gürbüz still enjoys an active sex life and firmly believes everyone can live to be 130 with proper healthy and physical care.
“I am the same as I was when I was 25-30 years old.”
The yoga master began his journey towards healthy living when he broke his back at age 41. This left him paralyzed from the waist down and he was told he would never walk again.
But Kazim refused to give up and, with the help of friends, began experimenting on himself with different yoga positions, a new diet, and mental determination that no matter how long it took, he would get himself better. 9 months later he was able to walk again.
Today, Kazim credits his remarkable long term health and youthful appearance to a daily routine which includes yoga, sun bathing, and a special superfood-rich diet which, according to the Hurriyet Daily News includes olives, red peppers, pinto beans, herbal tea, and soup. He makes several varieties of honey and finishes about half a jar every day. He also points out that meat is “less beneficial” and “causes the most damage”.
