Senior Citizen Gets A Job At Walmart - Two Hours Later He’s Fired For A Very Unusual Reason

Good and bad people can be found everywhere in the world. Some may behave properly with you but there are others who are rude and unpleasant. You need a lot of patience and courage to handle such people. If you shout at them it would be of little help, instead, it would be good to come up with a witty response.

This is the story of an old man who encountered a rude customer on the first day of his job at Walmart.

The New Job

Would you risk getting fired just to tell a person that he is being rude to his children? While some may decide to remain quiet and let the mother mind her own business, there are some who might not be able to tolerate verbal abuse of the children.

This is a real incident of a newly-hired Walmart greeter’s comeback with a rude mother who certainly gained a nice lesson.

What Happened?

The old man got a Wal-Mart greeter’s job, after getting retired from the military, but his first day was a trial by the fire. It was just two hours into the job when a very loud, and a mean-looking woman entered the store with his two kids yelling indecently at them all the way through the entrance. The lady was continuously telling them to “shut the hell up”, as the customers stared at her in embarrassment.

The Gentleman Could Not Tolerate

As given in the training manual, the gentleman pleasantly said, “Good morning and welcome to Wal-Mart.”

He further asked him, “Nice children you have there. Are they twins?”

Shocking Reaction

The rude woman stopped yelling at the kids, turned to the Greeter and said

“Hell no, they aren’t twins. The oldest one is 9 and the other one is 4. Why the hell would you think they’re twins? Are you blind or just stupid, you idiot?!?”

She was being rude to the employee as well who in return gave a clever response.

An Excellent Response

The man handled the situation very politely but gave a clever response to the rude woman. He calmly replied

“I am neither blind nor stupid, Ma’am. I just couldn’t believe someone slept with you twice. Have a good day and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.”

His response was clever enough to spread laughter around the store but he lost his job after that interaction.
