Vangelia Pandeva, better known as Baba Vanga, was born on January 31, 1911, and died on august 11, 1996. Most of her life, she lived in Petrich, Bulgaria.
When she died, Vanga was buried in a churchyard of the Saint Petca Church in the Rupite region in Bulgaria. This woman’s interest in politics was not incidental, as she was born on the territory of modern Macedonia, a land that for years had been an apple of discord between Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Turkey. Baba Vanga’s birth land experienced two world wars, and in both of these wars the Serbs and the Bulgarians were on opposite sides. Thanks to the precision with which she predicted in advance numerous great world events, she was acknowledged as one of the greatest visionaries of the twentieth century, and in the region she lived in she was even called “Nostradamus of the Balkans”.
Vanga lost her vision at the age of 12. she had an accident where she was swept away by a powerful tornado, and later, when she was found, she was covered with stones and other dirt, and she had sand in her eyes, which caused these consequences.
The first time Vanga started predicting things was when she was 16. namely, thieves had stolen a sheep from her father’s flock, and she helped them to find the sheep by giving a detailed description of the yard where the animal was being hidden by the thieves. Her foreseeing powers especially became mighty after she turned 30.
Vanga was visited during her life by numerous statesmen. One of them was Adolf Hitler, who after his visit left her house pretty upset.
Before her death in 1996, Vanga had predicted a great deal of the major global shocks including the tsunami of 2004 or the attack on the Twin Towers. Now, one omen seems to have started fulfilling; namely, as Baba Vanga predicted, in 2016, the Muslims will invade Europe.
According to Baba Vanga prophecies, in 2018, China will be the first ‘super power’ in the world, and it will take this title from the worn US. Also, the same year, a space probe will find out a ‘new form of energy’ on the planet Venus.
That is not all; the great foreteller said that thing will begin deteriorating for the US, and that the ‘African American’ president would be ‘the last’ acting president of this country.
This foreseer predicted the attack on the Twin Towers in 1989. The words of Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova were:
“Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.” (1989)
We are witnesses that this really happened. The World Trade Center Towers in New York were ruined after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The WTC Towers were called “Twins” or “Brothers.” Passenger planes were driven into the towers–“the steel birds”. “The bush” apparently relates to the surname of the president that was back then the current president of the USA.
Baba Vanga also predicted the devastating tsunami that hit the Thai coast in 2004:
“A big wave will cover a large coast with people and villages where everything disappears under water.”
According to her predictions, the Earth’s orbit is going to change in 2023, and this will cause melting of the poles and setting fire in the Middle East.
Bana Vanga said:
The great Islamic war would start in Syria and it would culminate in total control of Rome in 2043.
This prediction also claims that a definitive Caliphate would be established and that Europe would stop existing, that it would become almost empty continent and it would become a wasteland devoid of any form of life.
However, one of the most appalling predictions is the one from 1980, when the old woman said: “At the turn of the century, in August of 1999 or 2000, Kursk will be covered with water, and the whole world will be weeping over it.”
At the time, this prediction did not make any sense. But, twenty years later, it made a terrifying sense. In an accident in august 2000, a Russian nuclear submarine, named after the city of Kursk, perished. This event could have caused the coast to be covered with water.
A great number of the predictions of Baba Vanga are rather exotic, including the ones that aliens would help people to live underwater in 2130, or the one about the possible war on Mars in 3005.
In the end, maybe the most fantastic, yet the most apocalyptic is that around 3797 there would be no survivors on the Earth.
Here we leave a list of predictions for the coming years:
- the Muslims occupy Europe
- the Earth significantly changes its orbit
- due to the wars, the population of Europe will disappear
- there will be an effort to travel to other planets, including Venus, so that they try to find other sources of energy to Earth
- the melting of the poles causes the water levels to rise
- the communism contagiously comes back to Europe and the remaining of the world
- the nature is reborn
- there is a new sun on the dark side of the planet. It is probably the scientific project that started in 2008, which will create an artificial sun with the help of nuclear energy
- civilizations other than the terrestrial ones come to our planet
- global drought
- eruption of two big volcanoes
- a comet threatens Mars
- the two artificial suns run into one another so the Earth remains in complete darkness
- the trajectory of Mars is altered by the war it is being led on it
- a comet hits the moon, and leaves the Earth covered by a ring of rocks and ashes
- the Earth dies, but mankind has advanced to the extent that it moves to another solar system
- 5079: the universe will stop existing
What do you think about this?
During the 1930s, Vanga moved to Petrich, Bulgaria, and it was there where she predicted the beginning of the WWII. The popularity of this woman spread pretty quickly throughout Bulgaria, and one day she was visited by King Boris III. Vanga tried to talk out the king from the participation in the war. This try was futile, as the Bulgarian politicians did not listen, and the country joined Hitler. This led to Bulgaria being defeated in the war. The state was rescued from the territorial dismemberment thanks to the post-war patronage of the USSR.
Those Bulgarian statesmen who had visited Baba Vanga told their counterparts from other countries about this foreseer. This made Baba Vanga known all around the world. All events she has predicted are numerous and it is impressive how precisely she has predicted them.
In 1942 and 1943 Baba Vanga was again visited by King Boris III. Vanga was then in her thirties, and the told the king the exact day of his death – august 28, 1943. in February 1943, she informed him that she could see a red flag above his palace. Everything she told him turned out to be true: King Boris III passed away on august 28, and in the autumn of 1944, a red flag was raised above Sofia, meaning she became a socialist country.
The greatest part of her life, Vanga spent in socialist Bulgaria, a country where clairvoyants and mystics were looked down at mostly. According to the communists, Vanga was spreading superstitions and was distracting people from the socialism. In the autumn of 1952, Baba Vanga was in huge trouble because of a prediction of hers. Namely, she foresaw the death of Josef Stalin, and as a result, was imprisoned for a short time.
However, her prophecy turned out to be truth, and the Soviet generalissimo really died. This event did not make her free of persecution. Vanga represented a thorn in the eyes of the Bulgarian special services, partly because she was born in Macedonia (Yugoslavia), as Bulgaria was having pretty tense relations with Josip Broz Tito’s Yogoslavia. The Bulgarian secret service found this fact to be a reason to believe that Baba Vanga is an agent of the western neighbor.
During the 1970s, Bulgarian special services went on gathering compromising materials against the prophetess. In one occasion, her home was searched and 90,000 levs were found, a sum of money pretty big for a socialist country. Vangelia was not arrested, but she was depicted as underdeveloped and disrespectful.
However, numerous high-ranking officials defended Vanga. There are people in Bulgaria who still remember the story about the official that had lost his briefcase with important documents. When he saw that the police and the special services are not able to find his case, he asked Vanga for help, and she managed to help him find it. He sent her a letter of gratitude.
Normally, people may think that the authorities of socialist Bulgaria treated Vanga in a different manner. They were facing an inner struggle: the communist ideology made them fight against the ‘witch’, and on the other hand, the local elite understood that they could make money on Vanga. That is why the special services took her visitors under control and started taking 10 levs from Bulgarians and 50 dollars from foreign visitors. According to economists’ estimations, Vanga brought 9 million levs to the treasury of the state.
In 1967, Vanga was set on the non-existent position of a ‘state official’. This happened thanks to the efforts made by the daughter of then Bulgarian leader Todor Zhivkov, Lyudmila Zhivkova. Because of her interest in esotery, Lyudmila visited Vanga numerous times, and developed a friendship with the prophetess herself. Lyudmila was pretty popular in the country back then.
In the beginning of 1979, the prophetess told Lyudmila Zhivkova that she will die in a car accident, and this made the special services put extra efforts in preventing the tragedy. They did not succeed in it, and Lyudmila did have a car accident, but she survived it, and died two years after.
In 1987, while Todor Zhivkov was still leading the country, the prophetess foresaw major changes in the state to come. She forecast that soon Bulgaria will get another leader, an acknowledged scientist, who would not be a supporter of Lenin’s doctrine. This came true in 1992, when the Bulgarian philosopher Zhelyu Zhelev became the leader of the state. the socialists regime in Bulgaria came to an end, and the country went on developing in accordance with the NATO and EU standards.
Vanga predicted numerous major political events, not only for Bulgaria, but for the whole world as well. Some of the predictions that came true are: the assassinations of the US president John F. Kennedy, Indian prime ministers Indira and Rajiv Gandhi, the incursion of Soviet troops in Czechoslovakia, the collapse of the dictatorship of Anastasio Somoza in Nicaragua, and many others.
Numerous Russians nowadays want to know if Vanga’s prophecy about Russia will come true or not. In 1979, when Vanga met the writer Valentin Sidorov, she told him: “All will thaw, as if ice, only one remain untouched – Vladimir’s glory, glory of Russia. Too much it is brought in a victim. Nobody can stop Russia. All will be removed by her from the way and not only will be kept, but also becomes the lord of the world.”
In 1996, before she died, Baba Vanga predicted magnificent future for Russia once again. According to this prophetess, Russia will become the only superpower in the world. Specialists have estimated that 68 percent of Vanga’s predictions had come true, so now we should wait and see if the rest of her prophecies come true or not.
